Refrigerants are one of the biggest climate problems nobody’s accounting for.
They make up an estimated 3 to 4% of global emissions—more than cement or aviation—yet they are still routinely dismissed as immaterial in corporate Scope 3 inventories, even though they represent up to 60% of footprints in sectors like cold chain and manufacturing.
That’s the gap we’re closing. This RFP is for interventions, market mechanisms, and implementation models that can accelerate refrigerant recovery, reclamation, destruction, leak reduction, and equipment modernization, all producing outcomes that are measurable, durable, and verifiable enough to stand behind in a Scope 3 claim. We’re after solutions that deliver measurable emissions reductions across data centers, commercial real estate, industrial cooling, and cold chain operations.
